Who We Are

Arts Learning programs at Arts Council for Long Beach enrich the lives of Long Beach citizens by delivering interdisciplinary, multicultural arts programs and services that inspire creativity, celebrate diversity, promote tolerance, and contribute to the vitality of the arts in our community.  Arts Learning programs serve people of all ages, including school children through artist residency programs, and provide employment and training to individual artists and arts and cultural groups.

Studies show that children consistently involved in art education not only excel artistically, but also academically. In this Arts and Culture Education Directory, 
you will find a number of organizations, both new and more  established, that offer programs throughout the community. Organizations showcased in this
directory offer myriad programs to students at every level of schooling, including
